Prada and Adidas announce new collaboration

Brands will present a joint collection of sportswear and shoes

Next Monday, 24 January, the presentation of the Re-Source collection will take place. It is supposed to be a tribute to the joint work of the brands Adidas and Prada.

Recall that in 2019 year, these companies presented the result of their first collaboration – Adidas Superstar sneakers with a minimalist Prada logo. The model has gained resounding popularity.

Now the companies have joined forces again, but this time they are targeting the NFT market. Recall that Adidas has already presented its collection in this segment.

The project was successful. For the first day from the start of sales, the company received 01, 4 million dollars.

Details of the new collection are still unknown. Presentation scheduled for 10 January at 8am EST. It is assumed that the new line includes not only shoes, but also sportswear for both men and women.

Probably, as in the case of the “Into The Metaverse” collection from Adidas, the tokens will be “tied” to real things. The cost is expected to be announced at a later date.

According to preliminary data, the design of the collection is inspired by the Prada Linea Rossa line. Clothes and shoes are made in a minimalist design without a bright accent on brands.

Each item is made from special nylon, recycled from plastic waste. With the new collection, Prada and Adidas not only strengthen their position in the NFT market, but also express their commitment to the eco-trend.
