Colombian app Rappi, which delivers food and other goods in Latin America, has launched a pilot program of crypto-currency payments in Mexico
According to the statement of the Rappi team, the service began to cooperate with the cryptocurrency platforms Bittrau and Bitso, which will allow users to convert cryptocurrencies in the application in the attachment.
“This is the first step with which we began to learn how to integrate the crypto-currency world into Rappi,” said the president of the application, Sebastian Mexia.
Last year, the service, which operates in nine countries of Latin America, introduced the online payment service “Pau with Rappi” in Mexico, thus challenging the Royal and regional competitor (MeradoMeLIbre O).
Rappi also provides some financial services in Mexico, Brazil, Peru and Chile, and plans to offer digital banking in Colombia this year.
