CoinMarketCap Added A New Rating System For Crypto Currencies

A leading crypto currency market data provider CoinMarketCap added support of Flipside Crypto startup’s Fundamental Crypto Asset Score (FCAS) rating system, reports FCAS CEO David Bolter in his blog.

Thus, Flipside Crypto monitors crypto currency projects’ dynamics since the beginning of 2017. At the moment, the startup provides data about more than 450 projects.

Note that the analysts estimate the projects using a 1000 point scale , but do not take sharp price changes into account. The startup investigates developers’ activity and customers’ engagement and then determines project’s feasibility. Now there is a special “Ratings” tab on each crypto currency’s page.

It is noteworthy that such resources as MarketWatch, TheStreet and Stocktwits have already added FCAS.
Earlier, institutional clients of Vela SuperFeed service got access to data on more than 1800 crypto assets from CoinMarketCap.

To recap, Flipside Crypto raised $4,5 million with the help of Coinbase Ventures, Digital Currency Group, True Ventures and Castle Island Ventures in the end of 2018.
