Boomstarter Launches A Global Blockchain-Based Crowdfunding Platform
Crowdfunding platform Boomstarter announced the launch of an international service Boomstarter.network on February, 15th, 2019. This will help to overcome serious constraints existing on the largest crowdfunding platforms and make crowdfunding available all over the world.
The startups will get money directly from supporters on Boomstarter.network. The platform will operate independently from traditional intermediaries – banks and payment systems – due to blockchain technology who set rules which blocks access of developing countries to global platform. In addition, the banks hinder startups when they withdraw the funds that they’ve raised.
Boomstarter.network won’t charge any fee for placement and launch of new projects at the first stage of operation.
Boomstarter.network won’t have artificial restrictions in terms of countries whose startups can participate. Entrepreneurs from all over the world will have access to crowdfunding. The point is that the largest crowdfunding platforms have geographical restrictions now which don’t allow startups from developing countries to launch their campaigns. For example, one of the most famous platforms, Kickstarter, accepts only startups from 22 developed, industrialized countries.
One more problem for entire crowdfunding industry which Boomstarter.network solves is a long withdrawal of raised funds. Now it takes startups weeks to start using the funds got from their sponsors. This problem arises because of intermediaries’ rules. Boomstarter.network eliminates the intermediaries from the chain and startups access the funds rapidly: in minutes instead of weeks.
