H&M Distributors Accepts Cryptocurrency

A major American retailer H&M Distributors started supporting the main cryptocurency payment methods. The clients will be able to make payment using Bitcoin and altcoins.
H&M sells light fittings and accessories. The company will accept crypto currency payments via Champion platform which will allow the users to use the leading crypto currencies.
Retailer representatives report that the following crypto currencies will be supported:
• Bitcoin (BTC),
• Bitcoin Diamond (BCD),
• Dash (DASH),
• Bitcoin Cash (BTH),
• Litecoin (LTC),
• Zcoin (XZC),
• Ethereum (ETH) and etc.
The company decided to start to accept crypto currency payments after it revealed that the crypto currency would allow to enter international market.
As the press release says, “After more than 20 years in the business, we consider ourselves experts in specialty lighting. Accepting cryptocurrency payments allows us to share that expertise with even more clients by removing many of the barriers that made it difficult to sell internationally before. Further, what sold us was the settlement system, which allows us to convert crypto payments to a USD equivalent right away”.
Crypto currency became the next step of money evolution. Digital money are adopted because of its decentralization, economical effectiveness and convenience. It is less functional than fiat, but outruns it terms of availability and effectiveness issues.
Probably, this piece of news is not a breakthrough that crypto enthusiasts wait for. But this is certainly a step forward to massive adoption of digital money.
