Transaction Volume in Bitcoin Network Has Recovered To 2017’s Levels
According to Bitcoin Visuals, the volume of transactions in the bitcoin network has reached the marks of late November 2017.
Then, just a month before reaching the historic maximum, the first cryptocurrency was trading above $8000.
In November 2017, as well as today, the bitcoin network processed about 330 thousand transactions per day.
Despite the growth of blockchain activity, the share of SegWit transactions is gradually decreasing. The share of such transactions in the total volume is now 35%, which roughly corresponds to the indicators of May 2017.
The average fee for a bitcoin transaction is now $0.12. In November, it was $10, and when bitcoin was near $ 20 000, the transaction fee reached $50.
