SWIFT Disposed Rumors About Cooperation With RippleNet
International interbank system SWIFT doesn’t plan to use RippleNet’s fintech technologies, reports Finance Magnates.
The company’s representative claimed that SWIFT was going to change protocol standards, but it was not connected with the Ripple network. The update is aimed at implementation of tracking links into all the payments allowing the banks to track their gpi payments in the real time mode.
SWIFT is planning to update the system in November and switch to a new standard SWIFT gpi (global payment innovation) with fully transparent and trackable transactions. That’s why the rumors claiming that the company would implement Ripple technology and provide more than 4000 banks with access to its services appeared.
It was reported earlier that the payment company SendFriends supported by the leading financial and IT company would use Ripple’s xRapid technology.
