Large Investors Choose XRP

Grayscale Investments has published new data on digital currencies, that attract institutional investors the most.
Grayscale Investments notes that 12.5% of institutional investors tend to buy XRP from Digital Large Cap. A quarter earlier, only 9.9% of large investors chose this cryptocurrency.
In the last few months, there has been a decline in interest in Litecoin, Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash. Although these are still significant digital assets in the market.
The number of investors buying Ethereum has fallen by 10.5% to 13.1%, Litecoin by 0.3% to 2.1% and Bitcoin Cash by 1% to 5.5%. At the same time, the number of investors who prefer buying bitcoin increased by 9.2% to 66.8%.
Grayscale Investments, launched by Digital Currency Group in September 2013, has become a major player in the financial space with a significant impact on the digital currency market. It controls cryptocurrency investment trust funds operating in the over-the-counter (OTC) market.
Meanwhile, the world trade organization (WTO) has released a new important report entitled “The future of world trade: How digital technologies are transforming global commerce”.
In the report, the researchers touched upon the topic of blockchain and stressed that Ripple had a huge potential for the transformation of the global financial system. In particular, they mentioned the key benefits that Ripple can offer.
Santander Bank announced its intention to use Onepay FX, developed by Ripple, for international payments. This bank, belonging to Grupo Santander -the largest financial and credit group in Spain – was one of the first in the world to use Ripple products in its financial transactions.
Santander Bank is included in the list of key investors of the company and, in addition to using its payment system RippleNet, actively promotes the cryptocurrency project in the global market.
