Cryptocurrencies Are Going Down In Anticipation Of The Rejection Of Ethereum-ETF Registration

On Wednesday, the main cryptocurrencies are falling amid mostly negative news. For example, the statement of the head of International Monetary Fund (IMF) Christine Lagarde has become unpleasant information for the crypto-market. She said that the world was on the verge of another financial crisis. She associated the advent of the possible crisis with the rapid development of financial technologies, in particular, cryptocurrencies.
In addition, market participants are quite pessimistic about the decision of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the launch of Ethereum-ETF. The commission has already refused to register bitcoin-ETF, thus market participants do not expect anything good in this case as well.
As the result, the exchange rate of bitcoin has dropped by 1.07% to $6574, with capitalization of $113.6 billion. Ethereum has fallen by 1.86% to $57.9, its market capitalization has reached $23.1 billion. Ripple has decreased by 2.08% to $0.47. Its capitalization is $18.7 billion. Litecoin has fallen in price by 1,86% to $57.9, its market capitalization has reached $3.4 billion.
The total capitalization of the crypto-market is $216.9 billion.
It can be expected that, if that the market does not receive new positive information, the bitcoin rate may fall to $6500, Ethereum – to $57, Ripple – to $0.46, Litecoin – $57.
