Samsung Recommends Using Smartphone For Crypto Transactions

Joel Snider, senior Samsung IT consultant, believes that mobile devices provide more security for digital cryptocurrency.

Smartphones have something computers and notebooks can’t offer — Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), Samsung IT consultant and the creator of Samsung Insights Joel Snyder, according two CNN. It means that smartphones are more practical for cryptocurrency transactions and data storing.

TEE is a separate system that has its own moment and storage that is isolated from main device and even OS can’t interfere into the process inside if it.

A hacker won’t be able to access TEE so he can’t steal private keys for cryptocurrency wallets for example. Whereas computers and notebooks store the information on hard disks and SSD which makes it less protected.

Snyder also added that if you are using the right wallet it’s the most protected thing you can find for assets storing.
